On the 05/08/2020th, social movements from Minas Gerais held a Live from the Zero Eviction Campaign. The broadcast was through the Popular Brigades Facebook page. The event's presentation text states that: “In the midst of the biggest public health crisis of the last hundred years, millions of families across Brazil can be forcibly taken from their homes and placed on the street. To talk about this matter, we heard from representatives of the MST – Landless Rural Workers Movement; MTST – Homeless Workers Movement; Grassroots Organization Movement (MOB); Land Pastoral Commission (CPT), Popular Liberation Movement - MLP, Street Pastoral, MTD - Movement of Workers and Workers for Rights, Federation of Quilombola Communities of Minas Gerais, National Movement of Homeless Population, Popular Fight, and of the Cidade de Deus Occupation, in Sete Lagoas, MG”.
