The Popular Committee in Defense of the People and Against the Coronavirus is an initiative organized by various Social Movements, Trade Unions, Associations, Non-Governmental Organizations and Trade Union Centrals, in addition to people who are not directly involved in these movements. The Committee operates in the city of Porto Alegre and is made up of movements from Rio Grande do Sul.
