A look at initiatives to combat the pandemic

Throughout the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, several civil society initiatives emerged to guarantee support, livelihoods and resources for the least disadvantaged part of society. As a principle only the will to help others. Here we bring some of what civil society mobilized in this pandemic.

SOLIDARITY

To fight hunger, misery and the diverse needs of people in the most difficult situations, NGOs, Associations and diverse groups sought to build support networks. Know a little more about them.

MOBILIZATIONS

Actions aimed at putting pressure on the government and public institutions to seek solutions to guarantee resources and health for the population. Social movements, unions, NGOs and associations making noise and participation.

COMMUNICATION

Actions and social movements that built and build mechanisms, sources and structures of information and communication to make knowledge reach the best form to those who need the most diverse information.

DIGITAL ACTIVISM

Civil society actions against the pandemic make more and better use of digital tools for activism, driven by the need for isolation and distancing.
