This article offers an overview of how favelas faced the pandemic and their forms of organization. The research is restricted to favelas in Rio de Janeiro, based on the collection and organization of information in the Coronavirus in the Favelas section of the Dictionary of Favelas ( wikifavelas.com.br/coronavirus ).
